How to make concrete objects

Concrete

How much concrete to use in production

Since I can always use multiple plant points, DIY flower pots are the obvious choice. Because of this, I find it much easier to make a smaller amount of concrete (enough for one flower pot, or several small flower pots at a time). Build it by slowly adding cement and water while mixing to make mixing easier.

What kind of concrete

Fast setting concrete will allow you to complete your project faster, but you can also use standard concrete. Once you have the mold for your homemade concrete pots, you will need the rest of the materials. Although using concrete is easier than you think, if you don't want to invert the pot, you can definitely gild the finished product. Most likely, air bubbles will appear in your concrete tank, and gaps may be left in the gilding. Concrete basins can become very heavy, especially after adding water and soil.

Concrete drying

Depending on the type of concrete you are using, it dries very quickly outdoors (whereas in the mold, it dries much slower, depending on the material used). So, I started adding concrete on the sides and pressing it down with a trowel. When they were dry, I used scissors and started cutting the plastic pots to remove the concrete easily. They made it with a sleek finish and drainage holes so it can be planted right in pots. The Large Pod Planter, also from CB2, is another artificial concrete planter made from a mix of concrete and fiberglass. Standard finish is a feature of a concrete garden planter when it first comes out of shape. In addition, you can add decorative finishes such as paint or wood stain to the concrete to make your planter unique. Whether filled with the freshness of summer or winter greenery, choosing the right vase or planter can spice up any open space. How to finish pot Large concrete planters, such as those built into the landscape, may offer more space, but you will need to pay attention to the size of the planter when deciding what to put in it. Our concrete garden pottery and flower pots are manufactured in Arizona using a high quality concrete mixing and molding process. A 135 lb / cubic foot concrete garden pot takes some effort. You don't want to change your mind next week and you need to drag it to a new location.
